The NITCAA General Body Meeting and NITCAA Day, held in the RECCAA club, was a resounding success, bringing together alumni, faculty, and friends for a day of connection, celebration, and inspiration.  The event featured a formal General Body Meeting, followed by a vibrant NITCAA Day celebration. The highlight of the day was the presentation of the prestigious Prof. P.M. Jussay Memorial Gold Coin Award to Ms. Parvathy J, Best Outgoing Student, by Chief Guest Er. Alex Varghese IAS, District Collector Alappuzha, with the generous sponsorship of the NIT Calicut 1974 batch. Attendees also enjoyed insightful addresses from Er. Thankachan Thomas, President World NITCAA, and Er. Nirmal N R, Guest of Honour. NITCAA is also distributing scholarships worth about ₹12 lakh yearly to deserving engineering students in Kerala.

Earlier, the general body elected a new committee for the period  2025-2026.  Geogy Thomas (President), Santhosh Melekalathil (Secretary), Sebastian John (Treasurer), Fathim Rashna (Joint Secretary), Noufal G K (Vice President), Jayan M P, Sam Thomas, Anees Ashraf, Rajesh Velayudhan, George P Joseph,

Showkath P K and Geetha John are elected as the new office bearers. Sri M. R. Devadas, Founder Member of RECCAA Cochin, was honored for his invaluable contributions. The 1974 batch handed over a cheque of 1 lakh rupees to World NITCAA.

The day concluded with entertainment and a delicious meal, fostering camaraderie and strengthening the NITCAA and RECCAA community bonds.
