NITCAA Cochin Chapter took up many exemplary activities for its members, one of which was housing projects in Kochi. Right after its founding in 1984 (then called RECCAA), the association launched RECCAA Enclave, a housing project at Kakkanad which benefited around 69 members. Housing projects in RECCAA Valley, Mavelipuram followed.

In recent times, NITCAA constructed NITCAA TOWER, a multi-storied residential apartment, conceived for members as an affordable but luxurious housing complex near RECCAA club, offering a cosy living environment with all the modern conveniences required for a comfortable lifestyle.

Er. M. Mohandas, the then President of NITCAA Cochin Chapter (2017-2019) conceived the project as a complex of luxury 1-BHK apartments spread across 4 floors, on land owned by NITCAA at RECCAA Valley. The building structure and construction were planned with the best quality materials, and styled in contemporary themes. Based on the request from some of the members, a few 2-BHK apartments were later included, and the final plan consisted of 10 numbers of 1-BHK apartments and 7 numbers of 2-BHK apartments. Because of the assurance of the affordable price with quality construction, the apartments were sold out in no time before the first metal was cut.

The construction of NITCAA Tower commenced on 12th February 2019. The work was awarded to M/s. Ventura Relators Pvt. Ltd. A site engineer was appointed to look after the day-to-day construction and other secretarial activities. The Executive Committee constituted a separate sub-committee to specifically monitor the progress of the construction activities. NITCAA bought land from adjacent property for constructing additional car parking area. The collective strength of the NITCAA network was utilised to get the best material at the best rates, as well as to get the required permissions quickly from KSEB, KWA, and other regulatory bodies concerned.

In spite of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the construction of NITCAA Tower was successfully completed, and the residential complex was formally inaugurated on 26th of January 2021 by Er.. Thankachan Thomas, the then President of the chapter, After the inauguration, a conducted tour was organized for all attendees to show the various amenities and features of the apartment complex.

Since 26th January is celebrated as NITCAA Day every year, NITCAA Cochin chapter organized a formal function at the RECCA Club, after the inaugural ceremony. During this function, the keys of the apartments and the associated documents were handed over to the respective allotees. All the contributors to the project were also felicitated during the event.

Today, the NITCAA Tower stands as a proud testimony to the creative endeavours of NITCAA Cochin Chapter, besides imparting an additional aesthetic lift to the RECCAA Valley locality.
